I was reading more of this book (I'm about 1/2 way done) and found myself sort of fippantly reading it thinking, "Yah, yah, yah. I've read all this before." That night, I had a situation with Dale that I chose to handle the wrong way. When it was over, it hit me like a brick... Sure, I might know it but is it really sinking into my heart? And on top of that, I realized that now that I know all of this and have an understanding of what it means for my role as a wife, I am accountable for it. Yikes! It's not enough to read about it. I have to let it be used by God to change my life. Gee, sort of sounds like what we're supposed to do w/ Scripture too, huh? =-) Please, God, continue to sanctify me!
